Drug problem

Since the beginning of this century the problem with drugs has grown amazingly and we are close witnesses of its influence on youngsters, particularly. They do not need to have much money to get a drug or to go far to find a dealer. A nearby neibourhood or even outside schools are the places to find the kind of stimulants that kids are looking for. Also the diversity of drugs which are on the streets are many and they are increasing the bad consequences that produce to the person that consumes them.
The most common drug is pot that is found almost as easily as a regular cigarrette, maybe this is because is more acepted for its natural origin. However there is a new drug that is “on” lately, this drug is called “ paco” the residue left after the production of cocaine. These new drug is highly dangerous for anyone that consumes it since it has an stronger effect than cocaine itself. What is more these substance is the cheapest one and it has turned into the favourite for delincuents.
Few preventive policies released by the government have worked to solve the problem of drugs like the failure of punitive laws. In addition the recreational use of some of these substances have worsen the situation. Also medical services have failed on preventing the use of illegal drugs.
To stop this problem one of the main arm that we have is education which should be given at school to every child that is in danger to become a drug consumer. Since drug is seen by many kids as a harmless way of having fun, this wrong image should also be the first to be removed from the teenagers mind in order to reduse at least a little drg consumption.
